Appointment Cancellation

Your success is important to us. To help you succeed, a session time specifically for you and your dog has been reserved and prepared for. If your plans should change and you’re unable to keep a scheduled session, please contact us as soon as possible so we may utilize that time elsewhere. If you’re able to contact us 24 or more hours in advance for private sessions, I’ll be happy to re-schedule your session. However, if you must cancel within 24 hours of your scheduled private session or do not notify us of your inability to attend, rescheduling may require additional fees.

Completion of Training Courses

Six week courses must be completed within ten weeks. Additional fees may be charged for courses not completed within this time frame as a result of rescheduling or cancellations by the client.

Safety

Safety is always first and foremost in order to ensure the well-being of all involved. Therefore, the trainer must be notified in advance of all dogs with a history of any aggressive behavior. Subsequently, all must be safely contained in a kennel, crate, closed separate room, or behind a secure baby gate when the trainer arrives at the home. Failure to notify of any known aggressive behavior may result in cancellation of services with no refund.

Payment

Payment due at time of service and may be done via PayPal through this website (see Services). Cash or check (payable to “Sundogs”) is also accepted.

Travel Fees

For clients located more than 25 miles from the Sundogs business office (Alexandria, VA 22309), a travel fee of $3/mile will be assessed for each visit.
